  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk (warm)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, and instant yeast until combined.
  2. Warm the milk slightly; mix in melted butter and brewed coffee, then add to dry ingredients. Stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter across it, and sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Shape the rolls and place them in a greased baking pan.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
