  • 8 oz thin spaghetti
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 sturdy sourdough or Italian bread loaves

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, combine olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and lightly golden (about 3 minutes).
  3. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet with garlic oil. Toss well to coat.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut off the tops of the bread loaves and hollow them out.
  5. Spoon the spaghetti mixture generously into each bread bowl.
  6. Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
