  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions

  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef until browned on all sides (about 3–4 minutes per side).
  3. Transfer the seared beef to a slow cooker; add carrots, potatoes, onions, garlic, thyme, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  5. Before serving, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
