Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar together until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips gently with a spatula.
  4. In another bowl, mix peanut butter with a splash of vanilla extract.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture on top, then layer with the remaining brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl gently without over-mixing.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set but center remains fudgy.
  7. Allow to cool completely before lifting out of the pan using parchment paper and cutting into squares.
