  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time along with the vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet ingredients.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with additional cinnamon if desired. Layer with the remaining batter.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown; a toothpick should come out with moist crumbs.
  7. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle over cooled blondies.
