  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter (no added sugars)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth but slightly chunky.
  3. Mix in peanut butter and honey or maple syrup until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, combine oats, baking powder, and salt; stir well.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients gently until just combined. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
