Description

  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine lump crab meat, breadcrumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, and lemon juice. Gently mix until combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into small patties (about 1 tablespoon each) and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  4. Fry the crab bites in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with cocktail sauce or lemon wedges.
