- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- Milk (as needed for glaze consistency)
Instructions
- Activate yeast by combining warm milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and the remaining sugar. Create a well and add melted butter, eggs, and yeast mixture; stir to combine.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl to rise for 1 hour.
- Prepare the filling by mixing brown sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and softened butter; spread over risen dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into approximately 12 rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish to rise for another 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
