  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 oz softened cream cheese (2 packages)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared dish to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and mix until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips before pouring the filling over the crust, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are set but the center has a slight jiggle. Allow cooling completely before slicing into bars.
